THE 26th ANNUAL MOHICAN RIVER CANOE RACE

COURSE: Race start at the intersection of St Rt 3 and Wally Road (1 mile south of downtown Loudonville). The race finishes 9 miles downstream at Mohican Wilderness.
TIME: Races start at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Mass starts will be utilized when feasible, otherwise, race against the clock. Those wanting to enter more than one class will be accommodated if time and river conditions permit.
LOCATION: Mohican Wilderness, on Mohican River. Located on Wally Road off St Rt 3. 9 miles south of Loudonville. See map below.
REGISTRATION: Registration at the race start at 10:00 A.M.
TIME: Race Starts at 10:30 A.M
FEE: $6.00 per entrant to USCA members; $8.00 per entrant to non-USCA members; scouts are free.
RULES: USCA rules will govern where applicable. Ohio Division/USCA Arbitration Committee will be available.
CANOE RENTALS: Standard stock 17′ Michicraft aluminum canoe or Old Town Polyethylene canoe may be rented for $8.00 per race with no transportation. $16.00 per race with transportation. Canoers must follow the camp transport time schedule. Contact the race sponsor.
CAMPING: Rates are per family per site. Sites on the Mohican River with electricity and water: Friday or Saturday night – $15.00; Both nights – $25.00. Off river with electricity and water: Friday or Saturday night – $10.00; Both nights $20.00. For primitive sites on the river: Friday or Saturday night – $10; Both nights $20.00.
